- Do I need a vacuum table, or will a domestic ironing board do?
- A vacuum table holds the garment flat by suction while you press it, and a heated surface stops the moisture you put in going straight back into the fabric. On a board, an operator fights both. If you are pressing all day, the table is what makes the finish repeatable between operators and across a full shift.
- What steam supply does a table need?
- It depends on the configuration and on what else is on the line. Tell us the stations you need to feed and we will size the generator with the tables rather than after them — see [steam generators](/rotondi-steam-generators/).
- Which size table should I buy?
- The garment decides it. A single-operator dry cleaning shop and a manufacturing floor working coats want different surfaces, and the range covers both. Send us the garment, the daily volume and the space you have.
- How often do covers need replacing?
- A table cover is a consumable, not a fitting, and it wears at a rate set by how hard the table runs. Covers, felts and wear parts are held in Wynberg, and it is worth keeping a spare on the shelf rather than losing a day to one.
