Most parts can be identified from a picture and a machine plate. It is faster than a catalogue search and considerably faster than a site visit.
The reason customers stay with Unicorp for decades is rarely the machine. It is that when a filter disc fails on a Friday afternoon, the replacement is in Wynberg rather than in a warehouse in Europe.
What we source
We source from Unica of Europe, Due Effe and Tintolav of Italy, and Trecolan Handel of Germany: manufacturers of machine spare parts, professional detergents and textile care consumables. Between them they cover most of what a dry cleaning or finishing operation consumes.
Consumables are a schedule, not an emergency
Filter discs, press covers, soleplate covers, brushes and tape all have a predictable life measured in months. Operations that order them on a schedule have less downtime than operations that order them on failure, and the difference is larger than most owners expect.
Identifying a part
Machine make, model and serial number gets us most of the way. A photograph of the part in place gets us the rest. Email jhb@unicorp.co.za or call and we will work it out.
