Why marking pays
A garment that cannot be identified is a garment that will be argued about, and eventually replaced at your cost. In uniform rental, healthcare and hotel valet the number of items in circulation makes that arithmetic brutal. Marking systems are among the cheapest equipment in a laundry and among the fastest to pay for themselves.
Permanent or temporary
Permanent heat-seal labels are for items you own and will keep in service for years: rental uniforms, hospital linen, hotel stock. Temporary marking is for customer-owned garments that must be identified through the cleaning cycle and handed back unmarked. Most operations need both, and the mistake is using one where the other belongs.
Printing on demand
The HIQ EOS printers let you produce labels and tape as you need them rather than holding pre-printed stock, which matters when your customer list changes more often than your equipment does.

Answers before you enquire
- Heat-seal or sewn labels?
- Heat-seal is faster to apply, needs no sewing skill and survives industrial washing. Sewn is still preferred on some garment types and where the customer specifies it.
- Do you supply RFID?
- RFID garment tracking is available and increasingly common in uniform rental and healthcare. Talk to us about whether your volume justifies it.
